LARGE SCALE DAMAGE AT GAZA SCHOOLS DUE TO THE ZIONEST AGRESSION

” 174 government schools have been damaged as a result of the Zionist offensive over the Gaza Strip”, said the Assistant Deputy Minister, Dr. Anwar Al Barawi

” 26 schools have been totally damaged and can’t be opened by the start of the new academic year, in addition to 22 schools have been partially destroyed and 26 schools have been used as shelters for those who have got their houses knocked down”, he added.

Al Barawi assured that the estimated cost of the rehabilitation of the damaged schools is more than 13, 001, 000 USD million. He also pointed out that the brutal aggression has resulted in the death and injury of many of the Ministry’s employees and students of different educational phases, not to mention that most of the Strips students and children have been exposed to psychological trauma that has shown its impact on their conducts.

” The damage that occurred in the buildings sector is severe, specially that there are 26 schools have been completely destroyed including all each school’s utilities”, The General Director of Building and Projects Administration said.
